Welcome people, this is my first post on the site, I am excited. If my writing completely sucks (which it won’t) you can at least enjoy the amazing content. There is some amazing furniture out there and it is my job to bring them to you. I have a thing for extremely artistic furniture, but I will try to cater to everyones taste, I promise.

Fabio Novembre is an Italian Architect and Designer. He is one of my favorite designers (him and Philippe Starck, of course). I even follow him on Instagram. Even as a person I find him quite interesting.

When asked about designing the chair, this is what he had to say:

“When people ask me why I wear a skull on my finger, I always answer that it belonged to my grand-father, who was a pirate, and I think I came to believe it myself,” says Novembre. “Everybody should have at least one pirate grand-father in their family tree: it would represent a strong branch to cling to.”

In design Fabio Novembre pushes boundaries. His designs are always extraordinary and very unique. When I came across this chair I was extremely excited about it. Its form is so intriguing and even the texture makes it quite appealing. I think this piece would be great for a pirate / sailor-themed lounge. So if anyone wants to do a lounge with that theme, please hit me up. I would love to. Make it look very “Jack Sparrow” if you know what I mean.

So I’m looking forward to getting 2 in black for my office. I really can’t wait. If you don’t love this chair, you can at least appreciate it.

The Jolly Roger by Fabio Novembre (for Gufram ) comes in black and white and is made from rotationally moulded polyethylene.
